See, this is what I've been saying; nobody's gonna buy an "offset" from Squier - it's just one money-losing venture after another, first the VM Jag and VM Jazzmaster with accurate trem placement and now the Bass VI - when will they learn? I recall when the MP Marauders came out, you simply couldn't find one in Lake Placid Blue for six months. WTF? Given the # of guitars they're making and shipping, you'd think supply chain would be more fully developed and managed more closely.Cynics say it's "planned scarcity," but I can't imagine a scenario where they aren't losing sales by not converting all of the initial buzz into buys.
