Here we go:

1.)2004 Soldano Avenger. Sounds great. Still own it. It rocks.

2.)1994 Sovtek MIG 60. Great sounding amp, but extremely unreliable.

3.)1982 Marshall JMP 50. Same deal as the Sovtek.

4.)1996 Crate Blue Voodoo. Actually sounded pretty good until it blew up. When I got it back from the shop, it just didn't sound the same.

5.) 70's Traynor YGM-3. Great clean sound, and loud as hell for 22 watts. My first amp, and I didn't really know what I had. Maybe I'll pick up another one someday if I can find a good deal on it.

1) Diezel Einstein (winner by about a mile)
2) Engl Savage SE
3) Soldano Hot Rod 50
4) '82 JCM 800 2204
5) Marshall DSL 50
6) Marshall 4500
7) unknown 50 Watt combo from the 60s (had pretty interesting sounds and a tremolo but used to give me electric shocks every 30 mins. Then our dog peed on it and it went up in smoke, no joke! Still use the Alnico speaker.)
8) Marshall Valvestate something
9) SS Peavey "Whatever"

3, 4 and 5 are very close, I like the Soldano for leads, the 800 for crunch and the DSL for versatility.

My DIY Duesentrieb clone is also pretty good, but it's 'just' a preamp. The '74 Fender Twin Reverb has a very very nice clean sound, just didn't know where to place it in the list of high-gainers... (compared to a Silverface Twin EVERYTHING is high-gain).
