Members blackba
Here is what I have went through since the mid 90's. I think there is a pretty good progression to better amps Fender HOT Peavey Transtube Supreme Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 Marshall DSL401 Mesa Mark IV * Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue laney VH100R Sovtek Mig 60 Vox AC15TBX * Marshall 6101LE with LM mod added later Marshall 2553 Silver Jubilee * Engl Fireball Orange Rockerverb 50 * The ones with the stars are what I still own. I know its not as impressive as some of your lists, but to my friends I will get the look. All the amps I currently own I bought used and didn't try out before buying. I wish I had all that money. I could afford to buy a couple Bogners and have money left over.. Oh well. Damn, that's an impressive number of GOOD amps you've gone through! Curious what you thought of the Mesa Quad/50 combination? I'm considering a similar setup, heard nothing but praise for Quad preamps.

Members One-armed Alec
In chronological order: - Badger 8w solid-state combo (2 controls: volume and tone)** - Maine 60w solid-state combo - Marshall Valvestate 80w hybrid combo - Marshall JTM30 valve combo* - Line6 Flextone III XL digital modelling combo (too heavy) - Mesa/Boogie F-50 (OD channel far too powerful for me) - Vox AD15VT (excellent practice amp) - Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue (gigging amp - now that I'm a bit older, I appreciate a good clean sound!) Eight amps in eighteen years. Makes me feel quite frugal alongside some of you guys! . * The funny thing about the Marshall JTM30 is that I was given it on loan from a music shop while my Valvestate was being repaired. Shortly after, the music shop went out of business, and I never saw the Valvestate again... lucky for me I preferred the JTM30! (shame they hadn't loaned me a Vibro-King, mind you). ** 'Badger'. I just got that. Great name for a practice amp - 'only ever comes out at night'!

Members KoaFreak
I am so happy with my Mesa MkIII, I dont' really feel I need anything else except a Marshall JCM 2000 TSL and an Orange of some type for variety. But for my main sound, the MkIII captures it. I am much more of a guitar whore though.
