Members Tomkeen
http://www.neo-instruments.de/ Check it out! The site is in german, but I think they're working on the english version. The demo's sound really good and I would love to get one for my PC3x if the price is right.. Members NickD101
Interesting - indeed the demos sound great to my ears. The site says its 349 Euros. That's about twice the price of a Roland RT-20 - is it going to be that good?

Members evildragon
Isn't that more expensive than Rotosphere?
Members The Real MC
Rotosphere is too "phasey" This new Leslie sim - I'm a Leslie snob but damn that's not bad.
Members Tomkeen
Isn't that more expensive than Rotosphere? Cheapest I found the Rotosphere was 399 euros, most stores sell them for 499. Also, the 349 euros this thing would cost is when you order it directly from their site. I'd imagine them being cheaper in a store, like 299 or something..
Members llamastorm
Sounds nice. I am kind of thinking the sim on the XK-3c isn't quite as good as I like. Not sure it's that much off though. I don't want a real one, anyway, but kind of pondering what the options might be. Maybe something to keep an eye on. Members XK-S -> 3300
Sounds nice.I am kind of thinking the sim on the XK-3c isn't quite as good as I like. Not sure it's that much off though. What do you play it through and what settings do you use? To me, the farther and wider mic settings smooth out the coming and going of the horn and rotor so they don't seem to suddenly pop to the front. They also increase the amount of time/arc of rotation that the horn and rotor are facing front/the mics in each rotation. Also, try slowing the speeds down a little to around 33 for the slow and 375 for the fast for example. Don't have the horn and rotor speeds set the same though. Maybe increase the horn ramp up and down times to ~2.2 +/- and decrease the low rotor ramp times to ~5 seconds +/-. Good Luck.
Members llamastorm
I think that's it, my acceleration/speeds are too probably too close together. I think currently I have fast turned most of the way up for both, but at 180 degrees, but at the closest settings.
