In 6/8, in pairs (play both lines at same time):

ggg ggg ggg ggg bbb bbb c

fff fff eee eee ddd ddd c

ggg ggg ggg ggg bbb bab c

fff fff eee eee ddd ded c

ed cb bbcba aabag agf gfe

cb ag ggagf ffgfe fed edc

ed cb bbcba aabag agf gfe

cb ag ggagf ffgfe fed edc

Rinse and repeat. Something like that.

They were joking. It is technically impossible to play Chopsticks without a minimum of four highly trained pianists. Consequently, it is rarely performed on any orchestral calendar, due to the extreme technical nature of the work. They really wanted you to play Chopin's Etudes instead -- much easier.
