He does play a lot of Metallica though... By themselves, i'd say that they're 'not too bad'. I think its a sum of all the little things that allow for them to do their thing in certain circumstances. I'm pretty heavey handed with my style re mutes etc, so I love their response to pick attack and distorted clarity. In that case,it should be pretty easy to find more specs on it, either with a simple search or a trip to the Marshall/Korg website. Did you try that?
