Members Jody Butt
Can any amp buffs give me an ID on the Marshall head in this video? Also, anyone have any suggestions for achieving this tone on the cheap? (Shouldn't be hard.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr4byXDSfPY Nothing remarkable, but I like it. Sounds a little gritty. Eq suggestions? Pedals?

Members DeathMonkey
Nick Bowcott looks like Colm Meaney with a wig on. Oranges can get pretty close to that tone, which I believe is Rat + JCM 800, but I am not sure. Nick works for Marshall now, doesn't he?
Members enforcer
Believe it or not but I saw em live last saturday, their guitarist used a Marshall JCM 2000 DLS with a POD 2.0 slammed in front!

Members Moshaholic
I was a fan of the Fear No Evil LP back in the day... I met Nick Bowcott in 1992 and asked him alot of questions about that record... He was a purest back then and he told me straight up it was 1 Marshall 4x12 1 JCM800 2203 head 1 guitar cable for the ENTIRE RECORD... With an over drive pedal just for SOLOS... That's it... The amp was totaly stock too... xgx

Members book_of_lies777
holy {censored}, I have been loving this song since I was in high school!! You had to wade thru the import LP section to find all the cool stuff back then... That was a whole different era in time - no doubt about it.
