Members Miter Gauge
I want to turn wav files and other audio files so I can edit, pitch correct and change the tempo on loop files. I was going to grab a copy of ReCycle but before I do I thought I'd see what you guys think. Any other suggestions? thx

What sort of DAW were you planning on playing the loops in? Reason? Logic?
Members maarkr
Reason is the biggest user of rex2 files AFAIK. i don't like to deal with them cause they can't be used in many daws or played back on a computer without the right software. Sony Acid is another daw that is popular at editing, pitching, stretching, chopping and tempo changing. You may have to use Sony Sound Forge to 'acidize' the sound file, but you can keep it as a wav. Members The Audacity Works
In my experience, a combination of ReCycle! and Spectrasonics Stylus RMX (which can convert REX files into SAGE format) gives by far the most sonically transparent results. I've slowed certain loops from 150 to 90 BPM with few to no artifacts. Awesome audio engine.
