Members OverDriven
Just use the fattest you have. Lamp cord works excellent.
Members GRIFF10672
thanks guys ... the ones in there right now are pretty thin and look pretty old . I want to put new connectors in too. Or whatever those things are that actually connect to the speaker . this should be fun ...
Members drixll
if you're going to use lampwire, make sure that you don't cross the poles!
Members GRIFF10672
I don't think I'll use lamp wire . Probably just go to the electronics store and get the 18 gauge . But for all I know that is as thick .
Members drixll
the thicker your speaker wire, the better.
Members tlbonehead
18 is fine. 16 is great. Any heavier and there is really no advantage, and could actually be a disadvantage if its hard to work with and causes your soldered connections to be less secure.
