Members soc_monki
from what i understand the JJ's pins are smaller than required and that causes a bad connection, so i say TAD.
Members duncan
jj's. maybe darken up the amp and cut out some of that harshness.

Doug's Tubes has NOS JJ's without the smaller pins. What would you choose now?

Members Chrisjd
My JJ's are viscious sounding, pared with tung sol preamps tubes, my amp is at its best..
Members blackba
Personally I would go with SED =C= and I did, just picked some up. I have some JJ 6L6GC's in my mark IV, good sounding tube, bit on the bassy and dark side.

Are you loaded with all 6 Tung Sols? I've decided to stick with JJ's in the power section (the darker sound is what I need to tame the 5150 II's brightness), but I am interested in the Tung Sols. Should I be set with just one in the V1, or do you think I should throw in a couple more.
