Nuno used a 2210 (100wt channel switching) head front ended with a Boss ME-5 in his pre-Extreme band Sinful all the way through 2 tours - up until the release of Pornografitti, at which time he switched over to the MP-1.

To add to that,

He used 2210s with the ME-5 through Extreme 1 WITH a Proco Rat.

Then after extreme he went to ALL Hughes & Kettner Triamps.

Then after Schizophonic he brought out a Triamp and an old JMP MK II 2203.

This lasted through mourning widows, but then in Population 1 and Dramagods he used his 2203 and 2210 with a Proco Rat as a clean boost, then using the me 5 ONLY for distortion sounds. Also, his other effects were/are a Phase 90, Boss OC2, Boss CE2

The only time slash used JCM800's was on the recording of AFD (he used an 800 for cleans) I believe. On tour he used the stolen Plexi, and a JCM900 (I have a photo of this somewhere) and by the time the plexi was taken back he was using jubilee's.

In studio he used JCM800's on UYI I and II. He also still uses JCM800's in studio with Velvet Revolver.

He hasn't used them live since the Ritz 88 show from what I can gather though.

From what i've read, UYI were pretty much all Jubilee's, as well as Velvet revolver. It might be a magazine just saying JCM800's cos the jubilee's are pretty much the same.

Yes, but producer Mutt Lange had him use a JCM 800 2203 for the Back in Black album.

Where did you read this? 800s came out in 81' or 82,' so it can't be 800s since BIB came out in 80'. If anything, it was probably a JMP 2203.

I think Cave In used them on Jupitar.

actually most of the pumpkins early tone (Gish) was ADA MP-1. on Siamese Dream i believe they used the 800 a bit more (i know Billy liked using a Big Muff into the low gain input, preamp cranked and of course the amp is cranked as well! LOL)

800s...the 80's had a lot of people using 800s. not sure how many were stock though!

I'm pretty sure I read a interview with Billy that said all of siamese dream was done with James 800, Mellon Colle has alot too.

His fan site (snakepit.org) has his equipment list. He uses a 2555 and a modded 2203 in studio. It doesn't say what the mod is but I think its just 6550 output tubes.

Pretty cool site. I'd suggest checking it out if your a Slash fan.

On AFD Slash used a modded JCM800, which George Lynch also played somewhere in the amps history.

Iron Maiden used 50w Marshall Heads from NOTB-Powerslave at least (Before that they used plexis, modded plexis, and other stuff they could get since thet didn't have a lot of money.)

(just look in the Live after Death booklet, and you can see that they use 50w Marshall JCM800s.. i think it was the 2205 model..

Somewhere in time: GK 250ML mk.II/ 250RL (head version)

Seventh Son: GK 2100SEL Head.
