Members U&I
First 24 hours with baby - still finding my feet (it has a stupid number of possibilities truth be told).Spent the day exploring and trying out routing and processing options and posted up a few straight stereo out recorded jams / experiments without eq /comps or any mastering.Sounds quite amazing - the supervoid reverb and the delay are to die for. Here's a few snippets for anyone interested in it's sound and tonal character and/or how it blends with the MD and MnM -1.https://soundcloud.com/venndiagram/e...-1-analog-four2.https://soundcloud.com/venndiagram/e...locks-feedback3.https://soundcloud.com/venndiagram/e...00-analog-4-a44.https://soundcloud.com/venndiagram/a...nimal-tek-live

Members Bernard
''THIS MACHINE IS JUST THE BEGINNING'' Is that a new statement or do they say that all the time... If new then it sounds like they will do more of this RA stuff...
Members gregwar
i'm seriously impressed with the octatrack and analog 4. not only is the price great but combined they can do magicks and they're black and red, my fav colours lol i've never owned any elektron gears but one of my neighbours in toronto had a machine drum and could really make a solid grove so quickly it was amazing, especially cool with his future retro xs modulars are cool but i've only ever owned stand-alone synths and never a groove box. there's so much amazing gear thats come out recently its hard to choose !! i was gasing hard for a waldorf pulse II but the analog 4 just seems to blow it away feature wise at around the same price point, now i must watch more demos and maybe try one out at the store . . . If someone wants to give me a Eurorack system I'd gladly test it out and let you know I must say though it sounds great with an Machinedrum and Monomachine and blends really well with my Evolver and Supernova II Rack. So I could only imagine how it would integrate with something like a Eurorack.
Members MuzikB
Still waiting on mine through Sweetwater. It doesn't look like I'll be getting it before Christmas.

Members U&I
I absolutely love this and the other Elektron Machines - Just been working on track that has 5 multi-tracked Analog Four Parts, 6 multi-tracked Monomachine Parts, a slew of Machinedrum - with 4 tracks of Maschine and a touch of Sculpture in Logic Pro. It's still not completed - I'm getting the arrangement to where its needed before a friend lays down some improvised guitar work (jazz infused with classical inflections is what we're aiming for). So I've kept the piece minimal yet detailed. Works for me at least https://soundcloud.com/venndiagram/o...ont-mix-nearly

Lots of good vids but from product evaluation perspective, I agree nothing beats seeing someone create a sequence from scratch, and also do some noisy improv before and after. A modular is no doubt capable of even more insane noises and generative sequencing possibilities, but it would also take an ungodly number of modules to replicate what the A4 does. But the two of them together would be like peanut buttah and choco...
Members MuzikB
Ok, my Analog arrived a few days ago. Phenomenal machine! If your wondering, it's like having a TR-808, TR-909, TR-707, TB-303, and an MS2000, in one box. I'm still messing around with it but so far, I find it great for creating analog drum sounds. I'm still putting in work on basses.
