Members Dave Owens Posted September 6, 2007 Members Share Posted September 6, 2007 Fishbone used them as well.Ive had a couple..you have to find some way oftaming the beast..pre-amp tubes or a mod..( JJ's in the pre's take the edge off of the amp.)there is alot of top end on them..and there is theIIC+ mod as well.( $250) from Mesa..when you get one dialed in..there killer.mine is an 1989blue..Id love to get a Mrk II as well..the sleeper isthe Recto.find a 2 channel and send it to mesa andhave it dailed in more...I have yet to do it.but i knowit can be done..great amp- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
