Members iamthejazz Posted September 25, 2007 Members Share Posted September 25, 2007 I think something overlooked when it comes to this issue is the pickups in your guitar, and the speaker(s) in your amp. The right pickups make the most difference in how much definition you get string-to-string. I have Gibson burstbucker pro pickups, a peavey classic 30, and a ts-9 tubescreamer, and if I use that combination, I get great definition; but if I use my cheap epiphone with stock pickups, it sounds like mush. Members rogue_cashew Posted September 26, 2007 Members Share Posted September 26, 2007 vht deliverance its the new 800 its super thick in the bass but super articulate my recto doesn't shake the Wii sensor off the TV cranked but the frequencies coming from the deliverance shake it off. Pisses me off too cuz I go to play my Wii and I swear its broke everytime... Until I look at the top of the TV and the sensor has fallen behind it Wow. I'm sold. Members freaksho Posted September 27, 2007 Members Share Posted September 27, 2007 another Bogner vote. i've been gassing the Shiva lately: very detailed and refined, plus thicker & more gain available than a JCM800 (my current anp). their MV circuit allows for very nice tones at the volumes you need. all this and stellar cleans too. they have a bevy of high quality clips of all their models on their website.
