Members TheChopsyWanker
All I have is a basic Fruity Loops edition but I'd like something more real and organic sounding with a good user interface. The version I have is pretty limited feature and sample-wise, and I have to eq the hell out of everything to get a decent sound.

Members TheChopsyWanker
A Pearl Export 5 piece drum set with me behind the kit :D:D:D:D Haha, someday I'll get there. Being a broke college student in an apartment isn't exactly the best situation for me to get the kit I've been wanting.

Members YogurtKing
DR-008 loaded with EasyRider samples. The only thing more realisitic is LeafDrums with Easy Rider samples, mixing each drum track separately and programming each hit by hand, using multiple hit samples for different volumes of hit. But that's a {censored} of a lot of work and not always worth it.
Members BAXANDALL
http://www.toontrack.com/ezdrummer.aspThis easiest, best sounding drums I've ever heard. I just got this too. I'm digging it so far. I'm new to the whole VST plugin world so it's a bit intimidating to me but I did get the drums to work and have been searching through them getting acquainted with the options. I got the drumset from hell add-on too. These samples are pretty great sounding.

Members blargh
Currently, Addictive Drums. I prefer the sound of the drums they sampled to EzDrummer's, though it doesn't seem to have many samples for the same velocity so your tracks sound a bit more robotic. Members Duke of Metal
I use Fruity Loops Producer Edition but use external samples that I've collected from the net over time. Cheers

Members metal_terrorist
Currently, Addictive Drums. I prefer the sound of the drums they sampled to EzDrummer's, though it doesn't seem to have many samples for the same velocity so your tracks sound a bit more robotic. I thought EZDrummer sounded a bit thin and over produced at first. I run it thru a DX plug-in called Izotope Ozone 3. It has a few drum presets in it that are awesome. You can hear it in action on my site. I have a 1 minute clip of me fukn off. http://www.metallyguitarded.com/mp3/Hammered%20Rendered.mp3 or http://www.metallyguitarded.com/projects.htm and click on the nuke symbol. If you check out the link on my site called fuknorange, there's a quick rundown of the stuff I used to make that clip.
Members OverDriven
Currently, Addictive Drums. I prefer the sound of the drums they sampled to EzDrummer's, though it doesn't seem to have many samples for the same velocity so your tracks sound a bit more robotic.I got both addictive drums and EXDrummer so that I could test them side by side. For versatility, interface and ease of use, Addictive Drums completely and utterly destroys EZDrummer. Unfortunately, that isn't all that counts. When it comes to sound, EZDrummer makes Addictive Drums it's little bitch. No contest at all...EZD sounds MUCH better in every way IMO. It's a shame because I really liked the interface.
