Members separanets
What amps do Bon Jovi use? I saw some Fenders in their live performances, but I'm not sure. I'm trying to understand their gear.
Members Uberscha11
past couple times ive seen them sambora was using 2 diezel herbert half stacks, probably in stereo, sounded pretty damn good, but i could get that sound out of an amp 1/2 that price
Members tlbonehead
Depends on the era, and it doesn't really matter that much anyway. I'm sure they could take nearly any Marshally type of amp and sound like Bon Jovi with it.
Members conaghy
They seemed to be using Marshall just after The Lost Highway came out; Well they had them on stage when on TV over here. :poke:

Sambora's used tons of stuff over the years. He also uses a Pittbull on just about every album.
Members panhead5
This is a good question but kinda a moot point because everyone's right here.To me it always sounds like Bon Jovi but I've seen about every make of amp on stage over the years. Members SkyhighRocks
Richie is using DSLs sometimes but he also had some JVMs at some performances recently. It's usually whatever he feels like playing. The last tour had Divided by 13s and Herberts...
Members Badside
Yup, the typical BJ fan doesn't really realize whether he's playing Fender or Marshall or something hand-built by Hitler himself. He also goes through tons of different guitars. Just goes to show that tone, just like crappy songwriting, is in the fingers
Members fridgit
I saw Richie on SNL (when JBJ was the host) w/ a London 65 half stack. They were playing songs from "Lost Highway". Funny enough, they also had a back up guitarist playing through a /13 combo.
Members separanets
Wow, so many answers! I understand. Ok, let me narrow it down to the New Jersey album, more axactly to the songs like "Lay your hands on me" and "Homegrown train". What sort of amp do you think these songs were played through? Members Unclemeat
Don't knwo anything about Bon Jovi, but I am about 99% sure that in the early/mid nineties there was a Sambora Signature SLO.
