Members thefyn
I bought a guitar which I was led to believe had a warmoth body. A few months later I took the neck off and the warmoth stamp is not on the joint. Are all warmoth guitar bodies stamped? I thought they were (with the turtle logo) I'm pissed as what I thought was a $350 body may just be worth next to nothing.

Members killshot
I believe all Warmoth bodies are stamped, but I'm no expert. If there is any type of serial number or code on the body they may be able to identify it as Warmoth or not. Why not give them a call?

It's worth what it's worth, whether it's Warmoth or otherwise. If the guitar sounds good and looks good, who cares?

Meh, I understand where you're coming from....but it sucks when people lie just to sell you {censored}.
Members thefyn
Its not really old. Looks pretty new. It is a super nice body though. It has an EMG 81 and a boosted Bill Lawrence so it works with the active pickup without any problems. I was going to Ebay it today :-(
Members Weathered
It's entirely possible that it's USACG or something similar, in which case it's still probably a really nice body.

The problem is I am selling it. Warmoth always looks better than a "I have no idea what it is" auction.

Members thefyn
What are you looking to get for it? Would it work with an Ibanez wizard 2 neck? Yep. It had an Ibanez neck on it before. I paid $500 for it it with the neck. The Neck and trem are being sold (neck already on ebay) So I will probably get $100 for the neck, $60 for the trem. So $340 was what I was hoping to get the the body. It is set up for a Floyd Rose (posts included)

I'm just unsure about the Floyd that's in it and the neck...because it won't stay in tune.

Members Weathered
Warmoth. Because when you build a knockoff, you want to keep it real. I'll let that slide IF you can find me a Fender Strat that has a chambered ash body, flamed maple top, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard with a H-S-H configuration and a hardtail.
