Members Noak
Just finished recording this jazzy/bluegrass thing, and I'm interested in getting some feedback! I know the song is not great and my voice sounds thin... All the electric guitars were recorded with my Knucklehead. The song is called "Simple life" and can be found in the Soundclick link of my signature... Enjoy!

Members Noak
Thanks Lucius! There's actually no lap steel here, just trying to do some pedal steel imitation with my telecaster

Members Noak
Good job, it sounds very authentic. What tuning did you use? cheers, Lucius Glad you enjoy it! It's standard 440 tuning, EBGDAE from high to low... Never got used to anything else and it usually works good for me...
Members Joeytpg
I like it noak...very nice....good tone, good playing...good singing, simple but effective. I'd only suggest adding some delay to the vox track, sometimes I like to duplicate the vox track and have them unsync creating a cool delay effect thus making it sound bigger. I'd compress it a bit too (short attack, fast release, and try a 4:1 ratio) let me know if it works

All raw, juicy music OK, I did some additional mixing and mastering. I think it sounds OK now, what do you think of it now?The song is still called "simple life" and is available here:http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=673453&content=music
Members southtexslinger
Great tone. The intro will draw in the crowd and it builds nicely. Composition is good. Stronger backing vocal during the solo to add a sonic dynamic would be nice. Vocals are okay, but yeah, could be boomier or bassier. Great though. I dig it.
