Step one: Open amp.

Step two: Remove chassis.

Step three: Replace tubes.

yeah but i dont know what screws to take out to take the chassis out...ive never done it before...there are 12+ screws just on the back and i dont know what ones to remove...some look like they go directly into the wood of the cabinet

you have to remove all the screws from the top back panel.

remove the panel. unplug the speaker and the reverb cables.

clear the speaker cables from the bottom of the chassis.

remove the 4 screws from the bottom of the chassis that hold it to the outside rails.

the chassis will slide out now and you can change the tubes.

i leave the 4 screws holding the chassis to the side rails out. i also wire tie the speaker wires so they are not connected to the chassis. this makes for quicker tube change and i did not notice a rattling problem

i got clips put the speaker cables so they can detach easier...not sure what you mean by tieing them...

also how do i make sure i dont get electrocuted while doing this?
