Members bmast160
What do you guys do when you switch from a single coil guitar to a humbucking one...do you have completely different amp settings for each or do you have two different amps setup for each...i use a fender deluxe american strat that i have set up well on my amp...the fender deluxe amer. tele i have sounds good too when i just plug it in with the same amp settings but when i switch to my gretsch anniversary it just sounds out of balance...not sure if its cause it has humbuck p'ups or if its just not setup correctly....what do you guys do when you switch guitars likethis? Members Sardocasm
I use the same settings on the same amp unless if I feel like going to a completely different type of tone.
Members telephant
Yeah I re-eq for humbuckers. They sound different.
Members Ron Burgandy
I usually kick on my clean boost when I play my Strat. Other than that, I don't really touch the amp settings aside from the volume.

Members -todgemistro-
I have to re-eq. This is why I wont use a HSS guitar any more - I get the sound set up right for the bridge humbucker, then the singles sound thin and wank.
