So what's the story on these "Custom Classic" AC15s

The AC15CC is a cool little amp - it's basically the Top Boost channel of the AC30CC, with trem and a MV. They are a great bang for the buck - especially if you toss a Blue or something similar in them.


Cool...I'm thinking a Vox is my next amp (after the Marshall)...although probably not for a while :p

I imagine these are made in some random part of China to cost 600 for a Vox tube amp...:o

Do they like fall apart if you look at them wrong...I mean hell, British made Voxes are known for blowing up as is :o

From what I'm seeing it has a SS rectifier...did it not used to?

 

 

AC15 = SS recto.

 

AC30 = tube recto.

 

The problem was with the AC30, as it draws a lot of juice through the recto tube, and the stock GZ34 struggled.
