Members hugbot
Generic amp question: I know you should never switch an amp on without a speaker load connected. BUT what about extension cabs? I'f you're connecting another cab via the extension cab out does this also absolutely have to be in before the amp is switched on? Is there any way you could damage an amp by inproperly using an extension cab with it?
Members Twebbz
Just to be safe, I would have my speakers connected in accordance with the amp operating manual prior to switching it on.

That's the best way IMO, as well. It's always good to have the impedence set correctly on the amp in accordance to the Ohms of whatever cabs will be used.
