Members petejt
There's heaps of talk about the effects Mike Landau uses, especially when I go on my chorus trips and start gassing about tri-stereo choruses ....... ...... haha, heh yeah well, I know him being a session musician makes it a bit hard to see what stuff he used, especially 20 odd years ago, but still, what AMPS did this bloke use back then? 'cause I don't think it was rack stuff. Mike was different to the other LA studio Zachman-style rack guys, which is weird 'cause Mike is teh LA Studio KING. Mike basically set up an amp & cab, run a couple pedals in front of it, and had a microphone in front of the cab---> which THEN lead to his massive fridge-sized rack of zillion-dollar Eventides & Lexicon delays etc. etc. etc., which then from there went into the mixing desk. Basically he carted his own effects around and did post-processing into the mixing desk. And live I think he just run the output into another poweramp and a coupla cabs. Still, the question remains- WHAT AMPS DID ol' Mikey use?

Members tetaJ
it is not as much as the amps, but the way he used the eventides or lexicons, one was completely wet
