Members maxkazar
Never really thought about it before but with Britains great history of making amps I never hear of any British guitar companies.

Members metropolis74
The only UK guitar company that comes to mind for me is Burns. Burns guitars seemed real popular in the UK back in the day when the Shadows switched from Fender to Burns. Not sure if Burns still makes any guitars in the UK today, or all they all made in Asia somewhere?
Members Megadeth Man
^Burns are still going, they were for people who couldn't afford American axes, I doubt to many people had them out of choice. Gordon-Smith, Hugh Manson & Black Machine are probably the biggest names. Gordon-Smith are the closest to a mass production firm. I've owned Gordon-Smith's and they are nice. I'd be more than happy to own a Black Machine or Manson. The rest are small luthiers you've probably never heard of.

Members Griffin
Patrick Eggle makes nice guitars. There's a lot of good Brit stuff that doesn't make its way to this side of the pond. Don't know why.
