Members DET1973
which amp has more gain and saturation? I love the 800 tone but want a tad more low end too. which is the better choice?
Members SiCkboy78
{censored}, this would be a tough choice. I think the Nitro would have more saturation. If you could buy both that would be the best option.
Members crwnedblasphemy
Splawns aren't that saturated. They have gain yes, but not saturated. Camerons are a bit more crisp and focused. All the cameron clips I have heard, can't go wrong with the Jose mod. Man that sounds the best. The Aldrich is a bit over the top for me.
Members Mesa/Kramer
If you have the chance to get a Cameron, grab it. They are rare to find, and are some of the best sounding amps ever made. Getting an amp Modded by Cameron could take anywere from 6 months to 2 years. The Splawns are great, but they are available anytime you want to buy. Members -Juggernaut-
Splawns are Great, but the Camerons (to me) are the Grail. I've had the chance to play 2 Cameron, BY FAR the best amps I've EVER plugged into.

Members Tim_Greer
Coincidentally, since it was mentioned above, I'm probably going to be selling my '83 JCM 800 Langner modded Marshall soon.
