It's for distortion. hm-2 wont do that on its own man. Gotta use it as a boost for the brutalz. Its really smooth on its own, but the teeth come out when your amp is slightly diryt. i have 2 hm-2 clips here, both with different mids settings. recoded with laptop speaker infront of cab, hm-2 into Channel 2b of my Marshall 6100lm. That tone is a hell of a lot better! Dense, thick & tight, cuts through and complexy crunchy on the top. The Bloodbath live clip sounded like a fuzzed distorted bass farting out to me.
