It's still a work in progress, but I've got it pretty much set up.

This is my drum kit. Once I have a bit more money, I'm going to buy a trigger interface and build some triggers for it, and have drummers record live cymbals with Superior 2.0 drums. That should be the ideal solution for a project/budget studio.

Coffee table, great for studying :D

Bad ass secondary listening system... My dad gave me a pair of his old Snell speakers. These cost $1000 for the pair back when he bought them. They're about as old as I am. I've got it hooked up to my laptop ( when it isn't on the go, which is basically all the time ) which is hooked up to the hard drive and that is shared on the network. I really need to set up a way to remote-control the speakers from my desktop.

Here's the guitar rack! First pic of the 7 string that I've posted, The Horizon is upstairs on the couch.

Here's my desk... :D I'd like to replace the Event ASP6 with Yamaha HS80m, but they're fine for now. I am finally starting to get my ears used to the way they respond in the bass and midrange.

And it looks badass in the dark:

Nice.

I just bought two new desk yesterday for my studio.

I have a big computer desk which holds my speakers, monitor, keyboard, mouse.

Then to my right is a smaller computer desk which is the same height so it kinda looks like it connects to the other. It holds the guitar port, two m-audio interfaces, bluetube pre amp.

On the thing you put your computer keyboard to slide out it holds the m-audio key rig 29 midi controller.

The mic stands are hanging from the top over the desk to the chair. Two condenser mics.

Amp is on the left for micing.

Laptop is on a "laptop stand" and from there it hooks to my monitor, usb keyboard, usb mouse, and interface. Also a 750 gig mybook external HD.

Both monitors are turned on, laptop and external. External is 22 inches. When recording the laptop has my mixer on it. The external monitor has the main recording screen on it.

Sounds great! Post pictures :D

I really miss my dual-monitor set up. I used to have two 22"ers, one of which was on top of one of my speakers. I'd keep reference stuff, like the tabs, or the song lyrics/notes, etc. up on that screen, and the actual mixing stuff on the main screen. That was so cool.

One day, I'll have it again!
