Members oldgitplayer Posted November 4, 2011 Members Share Posted November 4, 2011 A friend of mine (being married to a Canadian) is friends with The Bare Naked Ladies.They all now have young kids so did an album of kids songs that wouldn't drive their parents up the wall. He gave me their album to listen to last year, and I think they got the right balance between non-kids simplistic music, and lyrics that kids could relate to. Members Dingoist Posted November 5, 2011 Members Share Posted November 5, 2011 Speaking of BNL (it's not too much of a side track from the discussion), the reason their name came about (according to a replay of an interview I heard the other day) was because they felt like kids playing grown-up songs, so they wanted the name to reflect that.
