Members guitarbilly74
I have the chance to pick one up for really cheap. Does anybody have any experience with them in a guitar rig? I'll be using an ADA MP1 as the preamp. Thanks

Members CliffC8488
I've been using a FET1200 in my rig. Knobs are all scratchy but it sounds pretty good.

I plan to dime it and use the preamp output knob as my master volume so scratchy pots wouldn't be an issue for me.
Members knucklefux
if you come across any more deals like that, let me know. it's gotta be a 1U deal, though. if i had room for 2U, i'd just build a titan tube power amp.

Members guitarbilly74
Alright guys, I'm on my way to pick up the amp right now opinions are no longer needed because I'm about to hear it for myself. I do, however, expect a full review, you tube clips and gut shots of the Titan 3-channel preamp by the time I am back

Members HKSblade1
cool thanks!! I plan to dime it and use the preamp output knob as my master volume so scratchy pots wouldn't be an issue for me. Take it apart and clean them anyway. Scratchy pots can also create open spots on the control, or have the sound cut in and out. In some cases, really scratchy pots can lead to signal changes bad enough to blow the outputs or one of your speakers. They're like old TV tuners left on one channel for a cable box. After a while, one setting works, but the rest of the pot is so contaminated, the other positions don't work. Try just turning the pots back and forth with the power off. Sometimes that cleans them up just doing that.
