Members surfrockbmxer1
I've seen the Soldano hot rod for that price. I've never heard a hot rod but i have heard the soldano slo. Silverchair is my favorite band and that's what they use.

Members Mesa/Kramer
The Mesa will pair great with the DSL. The rectifier will mix together best.

Members greatmutah
Another vote for the single rec from a single rec user. That amp plus Avatar Hellatone 60Ls =
Members vaguelee
I like the clean on the single rec. It's an easy amp to dial in a good tone on. The JSX is more versatile, and would probably have a "cleaner" clean at really high volumes. Most venues are gonna mic your amp anyway, though. I would lean towards the jsx for the extra channel. The solo boost on the Mesa just makes the distortion channel louder, whereas with the jsx, you'd have pristine clean, crunchy, and heavy-ass distortion. I don't like to use pedals if I don't have to. Members surfrockbmxer1
We have 3 of those Marshall jcm's in our studio. I'm looking for a different sound. Not that theres anything wrong with the way it sounds. Just looking for some variety in blending with the other guitarist.
