This is my first Fender Amp having had a 5150 and a horrid Marshall valvestate before, so Im enjoying the glassy cleans and the grunt it has in the overdrive. I think its a bit more a rough around the edges affair than other fender amps Ive tried or heard, but for what Im doing that pretty much fits the bill. I had Eminence Texas Heat speakers in mine, however check out Weber for some killer Fender replacement speakers. Really, most speakers will be an improvement over the stock one. Members Orbis_Mortis Posted May 20, 2010 Members Share Posted May 20, 2010 I had a HRD for years and hated every minute of it. The clean is ok and the drive channel sucks absolute balls. But to be fair I never changed the speaker. I have heard that a V30 sounds great in them. Another reason I hated it so much, is how cheaply it was made.
