Members "sasquatch" Posted May 21, 2010 Members Share Posted May 21, 2010 its just ok. definitely not the best axe-fx clip i have heard, tonewise. i've heard much better tone out of pedals into an amp, more specifically, ralphie's tone with those fuchs pedals, which i thought absolutely slayed. its not any better than ricky bobby's tone, whose tone in his clips is also a bit meh. both of you guys are using a bit too much gain imho. imho Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was expecting some ground breaking stuff given how much {censored} you talked to me. This isn't even that good. Unoriginal to the nth degree, tone is meh at best, I hate the playing, though it's not completely due to your skill level, and absolutely nothing about this wowed me. It's not even in the top 1/2 of the AxeFX clips I've heard. Neil did a far better job of getting authentic Plexi type tones, in one of his really quick clips. Dude, you kind of failed hard here.
