Members TU BE
Looks real to me dude. Yeah, that's a {censored}ing steal. It's ugly as sin but I bet it plays like a champ. Hell you could flip it and easily make a grand off that.

Members mbarn3065
Scam! I never would buy anything that has a story with it (like a guy couldn't pay me, so he gave me this guitar and I only want $1000. because that is what was owed me) A.Why would someone give him a guitar worth $2000 - $3000. if he only owed him $1000.? He could have sold the guitar for $1500. at Guitar Center and only paid the guy the $1000. B.Why would the guy who got the guitar for payment sell it for only $1000. if it was worth more? This is a fake or stolen!
Members mortatort
There's a site around somewhere that has a list of tell-tale signs of fake Gibsons(google it). I've heard that there are LOTS of fakes out there and a buddy from another forum got bit once with one. Good luck and be careful:thu:

Members V-man
The guitar's legitimacy is not the issue. It's the story you need to worry about, and that one says run away.

Members goosefartfan
it's the real thing, but it's hot. bring the $1000, and a friend or two carrying heat to the pickup location
Members LP Heaven
I would snag it - I have a friend that owns a shop in brooklyn and he gave me 3 of em(1 of em I won in a "lotto") hehe - yea the fix was in but hey - had em all sold in a week. Just check the usual suspects.
Members fretout
The "open-book" headstock looks a little off to me. It could be the angle, but the "arches" look a little to shallow. Also, the TRC has been replaced. I wonder why...
