I use this mic sometimes over my sm57, and I have the 0404 interface...thats all you really need to record, plus some headphones, but you dont NEED good ones... Slate Metal toms layered over Superior 2.0. Nothing tricky, just EQ and parallel compression. Oh, and reverb and a healthy dose of room sound...
