You poor thing. Why are you still using IE? :poke:

Well sir, it's not a bad browser at all these days.

While I was using ubuntu, google chrome was my browser of choice for it's blazing speed, but I'm sick of the having to leave the window open till your downloads complete and firefox isn't any faster than IE with my machine.

What's your reason for not using IE?? Too much questionable porn leading to viruses??

My first thought-- "How did he manage to load Steam on a new computer before tossing IE and the Windows Media pin on his taskbar?"

Wow. Some high and mighty guys in here. Knowing everything there is to know. I'm nowhere near a pc noob if that's what your getting at... but thanks anyways.:thu:

Not implying noob, implying supreme surprise that anyone prefers IE to Firefox (I like Chrome too, but could see the download thing bugging me if I used my browser for that sort of thing) and Windows Media Player... to well... everything else out there.

FWIW, I think the newer IE is certainly leagues better than where it was, but the robust extension engines, far less often targeted security holes, speed (at least in Chrome's case), pixel efficiency, etc all keep me going elsewhere and likely will for a long time.
