Until then I have one not so detailed overview shot... Is there any part you need to see up close better?

Members Duesentrieb
Hi Doug, you don't need to feel bad, I have a new toy from you guys - I'm happy No, thanks, I've stumbled over a HR+ schematic and located the (minor) differences already. Its a very nice amp you've made here, congrats ! Olaf
Members Seattle Doug
Thanks! yeah, the main difference is Mike combined the separate preamp and power amp pcbs into a single pcb for ease of manufacturing at JCA quatities. Glad you like it, and thanks VERY much for the continued support.
Members MatchFive
I will post the pics, but email you as well.. Here is V1 and Input.. Here is V1 and Input a bit further back.. Here is the same area (Input and V1) from the side.. Here is V2 and V3 just in case.. The knob closest to the input is the gain knob, then the reverb knob... Members Duesentrieb
So, I've changed some parts to SLO specs and raised the voltages to its specs as well (preamp). Sounds cool(er) IMO. Btw. Drew: since you're using a BiasRite - how many volts do you read off the plates in your amp? I'm asking because my guess is that in the US you will get voltages closer to the "originals" (480V) - I'm on 230V prim and the PT is wired for 240V (which means some volts less, about 20V in the B+). Thanks.
Members MatchFive
VH4, are you using the same switch for 68k and 100k? Is it like a double toggle that can go both directions but is off in the middle position?
Members Duesentrieb
Yup. An on/off/on - I will draw you something later today . . .
Members MatchFive
Is it ground in the middle and the two resistors on top and bottom both running from the same place?
Members MatchFive
I am thinking one of these: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062502&filterName=Type&filterValue=DPDT Also, will 1/2 watt resistors be sufficient? Members MatchFive
Ok, a couple more questions.. They didn't have a 68k, so can I run two 33k's in series to the switch? Also, this is going to sound dumb, but do the resistors have to be running a certain direction? Does the gold band need to be toward the board (right side of R52) or toward the switch? Or does it not matter?
