Members blamingjosh
Hey guys, Mystery of the age of the cab has been solved! So about those speakers... So the three that are in there have square backs, no branding, and the serial numbers (maybe?) 81-0112 and 67-7315 on all three speakers. Any clue what these could be? My best guess is some old Sunn 12", based on http://sunn.amp+ge.org/sdp/index.php?topic=754.0 being the only relevant page that showed up in a Google search. There's also a signature on the bottom of the cab, in a manner vaguely similar to Jim Marshall's. Or at least what I think his signature would look like were it hastily written in sharpie on the bottom of a cab. So... any thoughts guy? Either with the identification of the cab itself or the three mystery speakers. Anything would be great. Also, the Marshall logo in the front was a gift my buddy gave me. Clearly not original. The signature: The Speaker: The bracing/inside: The front/side: Full frontal: Alright guys, tell me what you think! Thanks!
Members Ron Burgandy
it's a beat up 1960. that is Jim's sig. some sort of alnico speakers. it's not even close to a 60's/70's marshall cab. think more 90's.
