Members Casey
So I've read here and there along the years that particular production years or models of Squires were actually made quite well. Is there a popular resource I can read up on to get more familiar with the "good ones"? You see so {censored}ing many on craigslist... shouldn't be too hard to find one of the 'awesome ones' if you know what you're looking for right? Looking for a guitar that basically lacks a set up job and proper pickups, but is an otherwise solid giggable instrument. strats, tele's, any other body style/pickup combo is game. Members Spizzledude
If it says Pro Tone on it, in addition to the Japanese Squires, buy it. Built for three years in the late nineties in Korea by Cort. Fender made them stop as they cut in to US sales.
