This is an even freakier ant parasite IMO because the life cycle is pretty complex. It's called Dicrocoelium dendriticum, and The Oatmeal explains it pretty well with this:

Nah dood. Not even close. They just go into comas to prevent drowning, then wake up. Nothing scary about a spider taking a nap.

 

Fungus breaking into your brain to control your body, and finally sucking the calcium out of your bones to induce rigor, and exploding out of your skull? Ant or no Ant....this wins. :cop:
