Members u6crash
I've been toying with the idea of building a custom one-off guitar for myself for some time and always looking at different options. Lately I've been thinking it would be a great touch if I had a custom machined control plate for switches and pots. What would I search for? Are there many shops that would do both the machining and the nickel plating or do I have to find someone to make the part and then get someone else to plate it? If anyone has ever gone through this process, I'd really appreciate some info. Thanks!

I was going to have Bill make me a custom set of ferrules for a non-standard hardtail I built, but then I got sidetracked.

Members u6crash
You need emachine shop.http://www.emachineshop.com/ That's kind of a cool idea. It almost falls into the "too good to be true" category. I'd have to get Windows on my computer to run their cad program, but that's neither here nor there for now. Thanks! Members ibanezfoo
You need emachine shop.http://www.emachineshop.com/ Careful with them. I was going to use them for some stuff but a friend of mine who had actually used them said the quality of the parts he got were shoddy and there was a huge wait. Members musicdog400
I was looking into emachine shop for a headless bridge tuner piece but they were not cheap. Maybe I didn't configure it correctly.
