Members 5150Watts
What strings do you guys prefer? I have been using D'addario round wounds for a while, but decided to try the pure nickels yesterday. Not really digging em on the Wolfgang. Members Phrophus
Elixirs on most of my guitars, D'addario nickels on my 7 string, and d'addario pro arte on my classical.
Members peavey_impact
Lately I've been all about the EVH 9-46 strings. I usually have to always use Elixirs because my hands rape normal strings so easily but these EVH strings hold up like a mofo for some reason. Members Spaced Out Ace
As long as it's EB, D'addario, or Dunlop, I'm golden. Right now I have about 45 packs of EB 10-46 and 11-48.

Members guitarbilly74
I used to say I really didn't care about string brands as long as it was the correct gauge. That was until I tried DR strings.

Members Bumhucker
I was on a D'addario 11-49 kick for a while. Then I realized how much I liked the 9s that came with my So Cal so I've been diggin the light guage lately. 11s are great on an LP but on a 25.5" scale 9s are awesome for leads. Members guitarbilly74
What is it about the dr that got you to give a {censored}? Mostly how they require less stretching to hold tuning and stay in tune significantly better than any other string I tried in the past.

Members Ruction11
Mostly how they require less stretching to hold tuning and stay in tune significantly better than any other string I tried in the past. I also like DR's, but because they are much more flexible than hex core strings. They also sound very clear and are great for pinch harmonics. However, you have to be sure "crimp" the wound strings between the nut and tuning post or they can have intonation problems.
