Early high-gain tones, but with a decent clean channel. I used one through much of the 80s, and still have it. Cheers, Lucius I had an MP2 for a while. Thought if I ran that preamp with my GSP 2101 it might be an improvement over the 2101's preamp section. Turns out it wasn't. I found it difficult to dial in & lacking in tone & feel compared with the 2101.
