It had the clarity, choke, and bias mods done when I got the amp. I just sent him another one to just put a choke in. I played the stock one side by side with my modded one right before I sent it to jerry, and the biggest difference I could tell was that the stock one had more sizzle/fizz and the low end was looser, and also allot more hissy. The FJA sounds more open and bigger sounding. I do not even need a gate with the FJA. It does have some noise but nothing major. I like the nastyness of the stock one, so that is why I decided to just put a choke in and leave it pretty much stock, but if I had to choose between the two, I would keep the FJA.
