House is about to be up for sale, and when my lease is up here, then I am going to the Iowa side, Bettendorf probably. The Quad Cities is split by the Mississippi River, and at the moment am still on the Illinois side. Quad Cities is a million times better than Rockford though. House is about to be up for sale, and when my lease is up here, then I am going to the Iowa side, Bettendorf probably. The Quad Cities is split by the Mississippi River, and at the moment am still on the Illinois side. Quad Cities is a million times better than Rockford though. I hate Illinois, tbh, and I've never been there. Seems like a police state, where, coincidentally, mainly the ones breaking the laws seem to have rights, like the right to pull drive by's and {censored}, but that might be only Chicago. If I had to do it all over (first house buying and all) I would have looked in Iowa more. Specifically, Bettendorf. Their property taxes are a bit lower there and the schools are better too.
