Members The Anomaly
What about building a Warmoth? I know by the time you're done, you could have just bought a bolt or another guitar, but you could pick EXACTLY what you want, and it might be a tad closer to a strat than the bolt would. Having said that, the Bolt is a fine idea for the $$ as well. It may not be EXACTLY like a strat, but the scale, materials, pickups and pickup positions/switching, are what give you most of the strat tone, IMO. Fender is not the only company that can make a good strat.
Members Ron Burgandy
Buy a Mexi strat used off CL for a couple hundred bucks and keep the Wolfgang. Save up in the meantime to buy carvin bolt. Sell Mexi strat when time comes. Or put all your eggs in one basket and lose the Wolfgang you know you like for an unknown. Not smart. Members chrispsullivan
I think I've decided I'm going to try to trade it for another Wolfgang Special with the TOM/stoptail because it's really just the Floyd that bothers me. Then I'll just save up for a proper Strat of some sort.
