Summary: Fat goth from suburban San Diego finances his fat goth band(s) and probable drug habit(s) by ripping people off on eBay and guitar forums. Female with stunningly low self-esteem has sex with him and lets him use her Paypal account for his badly-executed capers. Goth changes name and city several times and attempts to snooker someone on the Gretsch forums. They get very, very upset and post about it in a dozen or so other forums, whereupon many others from all over the Net come forward with tales of their own bad deals with the aforementioned, because, you see, it's hard to get away with the same fraud over and over while simultaneously promoting yourself and your band, no matter how many names you perform under. Suddenly the young couple in question become rather famous in a seriously negative way, and basically every media outlet for their mediocre band and themselves is overwhelmed by ridiculous threats from folks neither they nor their victims have ever met.
