Members Misha
So I tried a Martin DX1 and lots of other guitars... (much more expensive) Can't stop thinking about the DX1!! I love the neck + fretboard! I want one! (... I need to win at the lottery!) I just love it! Do I need it? (who said we must only buy the things that we need??? )
Members Fstpicker
I know what you mean. These are surprisingly great sounding guitars, and are very playable as well. I say, if you can, go for it! Jeff
Members knockwood
I think if you love it that much, you need it. I've played a few of them and think they sound great.
Members JasmineTea
I like 'em. They're not real expensive, they sound nice, and they're resiliant.
Members riffmeister
One of my students has a DX1, in fact, I'm playing it right now. Not a bad guitar, esp when you consider the price! For my taste, it's a little too warm & mellow, but that's just me. One minor physical problem with this particular instrument is that the neck is in constant need of adjustment......it moves quite a bit in the changing humidity. Adusting the truss rod is very easy to do, though, and that's what I will be doing later today....
