Members daklander
A couple of years ago I dragged the old FG150 out the house to a gig I was doing in the great outdoors. I don't remember what the setup was, other than a mic on the guitar that was blended, at the mixer, with a Sweet Spot pickup. Many times I had a couple of "room" mics placed in front on one foh loudspeaker and pointed across toward the other one and that's probably what I did on this one though I may have run stereo outs to the recorder. Excuse the croaking and the clams. No justice is done to the guitar or the song. Hoyt Axton's "Lion in the Winter", my rendition.you can certainly hear the boominess of the mic at the soundhole. Members T.B.
I agree, really nice voice. The recording may not have been as clear/clean as you may have wished, but Daklander your singing and guitar playing transcended such technical glitches. Did you hear that FG-150, that's why we love them ............... Trina

Members pgcorky
Loved it, Daklander. It reminds me that it's not always the hardware, but what you do with it.
Members Freeman Keller
Me too. Thanks so much for posting it I'll tell a Axton anecdote. Saw him in Portland a bazillion years ago. He broke a string, turned to the side and tossed his guitar off stage. A couple of minutes later his tech carried it carefully back and handed it to him.
