a red acoustic would appeal to me as well.



Say no more. This is my one and only 6-string guitar, though I now have a tenor guitar and some ukes.

Pawn shop special, $70. It's really gorgeous. Looks deeper and darker outside of bright sunlight, and redder too. But it has a nice old-timey redness to it, not garish at all.

Personally I think it's pretty classy looking for a cheapo.

Wow, the back is even nicer looking. I like the transparent finish; I figured it was all solid green.

 

 

When I first threw the guitar on the sofa to take the picture I had it top up. But the back and sides are much better looking, and I'd already shown the front in the other pictures, so I turned it over. That way I kill two birds with one stone: make a joke, and show off my pretty new rfg guitar.

 

I think I'm changing my opinion of colored guitars. That red one looks nice.
