Members exhaust_49
For the people that have used the planet waves s.o.s. guitar tuner, what do you think about it? Has it worked very well for you?
Members kimona
Never used one. Looks interesting for just $20. I'm happy with my old KORG GA-10 with auto and manual settings. Here's a link to the Planet Waves tuner for you: http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--PTWPWCT06
Members panhandler
I got one last week in a 5 pk of strings free. I used it yesterday for the first time. It took me a couple mins to figure the damn gizmo out. I kept forgetting to rotate the knob to the next string. You have to keep it pointed at the 12th fret and both LED's on the string, little tricky sometimes. I can say it looked pretty accurate when I compared it to my Boss TU-12. Nice toy, I'm still playing with it. Dont know if I'd give $20 for it though. (cheap plastic feeling) Buy a 5 pk of EJ26 custom lights (if thats what you use) and get it free. Members 0rbitz9
I got one of those tuners about a year ago when Musicians Friend madethe five pack of D'Addario strings with the tuner their stupid deal of the day. I had no luck with the tuner. I would adjust the strings until the light would stop moving, and the pitch of my strings was way off. After messing around with it for about half an hour, I threw it in the rubbish. I wasn't dissapointed, because I got five sets of strings at a really good price. Members guildfire
I've had one for about a year. Works pretty good once you figure it out. I was use it as a second back up tuner, easy to carry around too.
